Lauren Lauren

On Sunday Lauren Bush (niece of President George W. Bush) married David Lauren (son of Ralph Lauren) making her name Lauren Lauren. Not a joke people! Actually she's going to go by Lauren Bush-Lauren, but still, her name is Lauren squared. I haven't decided if that's fantastic or tragic. What do you think?

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any photos of the beautiful bride in her, of course, Ralph Lauren wedding gown. So instead, let's take a look at some new arrivals from the designer.

Um, did you see those boots? I want them! Too bad I don't have a spare $1,000. That's OK because I love my $100 brown riding boots just fine, thankyouverymuch! I also now want a newsboy cap!

    Could you imagine having Ralph Lauren as your father-in-law?! So amazing! And I think it's kind of awesome to be Lauren squared. I remember seeing the most amazing wedding invitations a long time ago for a girl named Jordan who was marrying a man with the last name of Jordan. And on the back side of the invites it said, "YES! She is going to be Jordan Jordan!" ANd I loved it.

    For whatever reason that just makes me want to sing her name... I think if that happened to me, I'd end up going by L2 or something, for fun.

    Ralph Lauren is one of my fav brands. I would have considered marrying into the family just for the perks of getting free clothing :)

    I also WANT those boots! I always find the perfect pair but then they cost a bundle! I think it would be (horribly) hilarious if she went by Lauren Lauren. But adding the hyphenation sounds better.

    I think it's so funny her name is going to be Lauren Lauren! I hope that some pictures come out from the wedding because I'm sure it was gorgeous!!

    OMG Lauren Lauren! That is hilarious. I think that's a good reason to keep your own last name. :) And did she seriously wear Ralph Lauren? Maybe she did it just for the funny news reports . . . Lauren Lauren marries in Ralph Lauren. ha!

    Ralph Lauren has never really been my style . . . too tailored/subtle for me or something. Bring on the bling and drama, I say!!

    I'd probably keep my last name. Can you imagine explaining to people all the time that Lauren Lauren isn't a mistake?

    aaahhh, ralph lauren has the best riding boots ever! i've loved ralph lauren since i was a little girl, mainly because my mom loved it. ;)

    I'd take the goofy new to be Ralph Lauren's DIL. I know a girl who married a guy whose last name was part of her first name with a couple letters on the end, so it would be like Lauren Laurable.
