CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles

Last Friday I had the pleasure of attending CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles with fellow blogger, Elisabeth of Headbands and Bagels. We had an absolute blast! A permanent craft marketplace featuring the work of over 100 artists and craftspeople, the event takes places every Friday – Sunday from 11am to 6pm. Friday was particularly special because Etsy hosted their third annual Craft Party.

Lucky for us, we were invited guests so when we got tired we were able to hang out in the VIP section (that was adorably decorated) and talk to some of the local artists, munch of food, and devise our plan for hitting all of the booths.

For the most part, though, we spent the entire night walking around buying handmade goodies ranging from mason jar soap dispensers and candles, to enjoying cookie samples and partaking in fun crafting activities. We honestly were surprised when the event was closing, because time flew by so quickly.

Eco Pet Handbags

That last picture is of a bag by Eco Pet Handbags, a really cool shop featuring handbags made of recycled pet food bags and other reclaimed materials. A portion of the proceeds go to animal shelters and rescue organizations. So many really awesome items for sale.

If you live in SoCal and love crafts, supporting handmade artists, and/or are looking to buy unique gifts, you should check out CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles!

I'm a big fan of supporting those who sale things they make. The products are unique and so dear to those creating the items! One Etsy shop to check out is Love, Bug and Peanut. Comprised of custom prints, Lindsay is so creative and works with her customers to create special designs. I'm currently loving her Paul Walker Print. Be sure to stop by the shop and support an Etsy artist!
