Transitioning Into Fall Fashion

Despite the fact that the rest of the country is celebrating the transition into fall, Southern California refuses to conform. This last week has been the hottest of the year, reaching temps of 107 degrees. While I'm thankful that we have sunny skies and great weather most of the year, I could certainly take some cooler days, a PSL or two, and the comfort of leaving my home without sweating profusely!

The best I can do to get into fall fashion right now is a pair of booties. Enter these Old Navy Faux-Suede Ankle Boots in the color "Mouse House". The wide heel makes them really comfortable (I never wear heels because I don't do pain over beauty) and provide me with a good 3" of height. I'm really excited to live in these for months to come!

This Boohoo.com dress (that's less than $25!) is another staple I plan to get use out of year round. When it gets cold, I'll throw on some tights and be good to go. I am all about versatile pieces.
