And then I disappeared...

SO.damn.exhausted. I'm two weeks into my new job, and it's going great!, but the commute is sucking the life out of me. The distance plus LA traffic makes my daily commute an insane five hours roundtrip. FIVE HOURS! I leave at 5:45am and get home to eat, watch an hour of TV if I can stay awake, then go to sleep. And that was just last week, since the week before I was sent to Boston for training (not complaining at all, I blogged about the trip Friday if you didn't see it ;). It's just been a whirlwind.

On the positive side, I'm up early enough to see gorgeous sunrises like this beauty!

Needless to say, I've been MIA from all aspects of my life. Friends, social life, and blogging. I've been managing to get posts scheduled but I haven't been visiting blogs. That makes me feel horrible. I'm so sorry! I wanted to keep my readers in the loop because I really enjoy all of the interactions this little blog has provided me with and want everyone to know I'm not choosing to be absent from responding to emails and commenting on your blogs.

Your turn! Join the Monday Morning Gossip fun with my co-host Kimberlee of I Have a Degree in This and me. Here's how it works:

1. Blog about your gossip - all topics accepted so why not link up?!
2. Include the badge (below) in your post and/or link back to our blogs.
3. Add your link to the list below.
4. Only add ONE post.

Linkups are meant to be fun and promote everyone's blogs! We understand if you're new and don't know the rules, so we're happy to explain the process. But we don't link playing blog hop police. Repeat offenders will be deleted.

That picture is gorgeous.. but a five hour commute? No thank you - I'm proud of you for sticking with it and finding something to be positive about through it all! Hang in there, girl.
I'll have to make you commute playlists to help power through as best as possible! xox

Hang in there girl. I know you've been busy and that is why I haven't gotten back to you either on an email. It's all fine. Take your time getting used to it all...and once you find a place to stay in or around your new job's area (it is a nice area up there, just kind of expensive at times as far as I remember - Camarillo may be cheaper) you'll get better at time management. :)

xoxo

Daaaang one of the reasons I'm not a fan of living in Cali. My dad did it for 6 months when I was a kid and that was enough of a turnoff for me. I thought my commute of 2 hours was bad, but I will now think of you when I want to complain. Glad to see you're still getting some of the posts scheduled, but I feel you on the reading. I've been soooo terrible recently!
