Workwear: Business Casual

Since starting my new job I've had to do a lot of shopping for a new business casual wardrobe. For the last six years I've been able to wear anything - jeans, yoga pants - literally anything went. Now that I'm at a place that's more corporate I've been shopping at Old Navy and J.Crew Factory like crazy. Luckily both places are always having sales so I've been able to snag staple pieces, including these items below.

I've also picked up a lot from JC Penny. But I'd love more tips. Where do you shop for business casual clothes?

Right now I work at a place with no dress code and can wear pretty much whatever I want, however I still incorporate my business casual pieces a few times a week to stay looking and feeling professional. Most of my business clothes came from Express, Target, Banana Republic (outlet), ON, and Kohls. You're right about this being a great time to shop... so many great deals!

The blue top is really nice. Old Navy has been on point lately. I get a lot from Marshall's, TX Maxx, Target and Kohl's.

The Gap is the best for dress pants! I have gotten pants there on sale plus 40% off and they come to 20 dollars or so and great quality!
Also believe it or not some fabulous pieces are at forever 21!

I would wear/want to own every single piece you listed. You have great taste.

Hope the new job is going well. Have a great day! Ada. =)

I'm lucky enough to not have a dress code I work. I'm happy because I love my jeans. It's so easy to style for the office or night put!

Thanks for having me featured today! I found a lot of great business pieces at H&M, Kohl's, and Target. Gap {including Old Navy and Banana Republic} have great items too, depending on how much you want to spend though.

I love the idea of wearing cute business and business casual clothes to work but then I remember it requires me actually shop (which I am not a fan of) so I am quite grateful that I am able to wear whatever I want. Nanny life:)

Cheers,

TJ Maxx and Marshall's are always good placed to hunt as well. I also have good luck at Target. Some of my favorite business casual pieces are from there!

I can't wear jeans either. I love shopping at the outlets for work clothes. BR and the GAP are also my go to stores.

I'm lucky to have no dress code right now, but my business casual go-to is Banana Republic. I'd wait for a sale or discount email (or both!) and stock up;)

Oh, work clothes. How boring. Haha! When I worked I shopped mostly at the Gap. They have such clean, simple clothes. Macy's and Old Navy too. I love that J.Crew sweater!

We switched to casual so we can wear jeans and flip flops which is nice but I still like to dress up here and there so these are great picks.
