Last week I found two awesome tops at Forever 21. Unfortunately they aren't online so my pics will have to do, sorry! Excuse the cheesy photos. I generally don't do outfit posts because I live alone and have nobody to take my pictures.
I am a sucker for bows and ruffles so I was immediately drawn to these items. Plus it didn't hurt that I paid less than $40 for both blouses. Did I just say blouses? When did I turn 74?...Also purchased from F21, $5 flats! I have only worn them twice and currently have the biggest blister from them. Hopefully they'll soften up a bit.
For dinner we grabbed some sushi. I got jalapeno tuna and a random, mediocre roll, and stole a few of Elana's baked mussels. It was my first time eating mussels and I am not sure if I like them. The slimy texture is a little freaky for me.
After our sushi, we headed to a few local bars. I have lived in my apartment for about a year and a half and never hang out in my neighborhood. It's stupid really. I live in a central LA/Hollywood location and there is so much to do around here - and many places are walking distance.
It's nice to go have a few drinks and walk home, not having to worry about driving home.

ReplyDeleteI’m all about the ruffles and bows too. F21 really has great deals. The top with the tuxedo looking bow is absolutely adorable and I love it. I also like the flats and hope they get a little more comfortable for you.
