Let's Fly Away

My favorite thing to do is travel. If only I was wealthy enough to jet set around the world. I may not take the most extravagant trips or go to the most exotic places, but I do make an effort to explore one or two new locations a year. In fact, in a few months I'm headed to New Orleans for about a week. I'm looking forward to doing what I do best - being a huge tourist and seeing all that the city has to offer.

The only thing that I don't look forward to is the lengthy, stuffy plane ride. I can't control how long it takes me to get to my destination but I can ensure I'm comfortable during that flight. Jeans, sweaters, and big bags top my attire musts!

  3. This is one extremely stylist travel outfit! I normally end up in jeans as well, but for really long flights, like across the pond, I tend to turn to dresses. It's like wearing PJs on a plane!

  4. i will always choose comfort when i'm traveling, especially when traveling out of the country due to longer distances. leggings, shorts and flip flops are a must. skirts and sweater dresses are always good items to wear. jeans can be uncomfortable sometimes.

  5. Cute outfit, I adore the scarf and bag. When I travel it's comfy jeans and a tee with either Ugg boots or flip flops (depending on the weather.)

  13. I love that beige cardigan, so simple and adorable. It reminds me of a grandpa sweater, which I own many of. Great look especially for New Orleans! Have fun on your trip!

  15. I love your picks for travel attire! For me it's always about cotton layers because you never know how hot or cold a plane's going to be!

  21. well traveling to me always used to mean sweatpants. but now with all the security, and after being felt up by the security, i've opted for the tightest clothes of all time, ha

  22. I almost always wear a maxi dress & a drapey black cardigan when I fly, cause it's soooo comfortable. When you wear a maxi dress, though, they make you go into the scanner because you "could be hiding something" under the long dress. Whatever--worth it for the comfort!

Can hardly talk about how jealous I am that you're headed to New Orleans. I miss it especially now since it's Mardi Gras weekend! I'm always looking for an excuse to get back to that city. :)
