Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a Gossip Girl season finale viewing party at The CW hosted by the network and Birchbox. I had a great time! Upon entering the building we were welcomed with sweet treats, champagne, and the Gossip Girl Birchbox.
Each of our boxes were a bit different and mine contained Arquiste perfume, beautyblender makeup brush and sponge cleanser, Color Club nail polish, Dr. Jart + cream, a twistband headband, and a notecard.
After settling into our plush seats at their mini movie theater, we got to watch the finale live with the east cost (we're in LA on the west coast). In a room filled with bloggers, journalists, and people from the CW and Birchbox, Twitter and laptops were ablaze the whole time. That is probably one of the only places where you can text in a theater and it's acceptable.
The finale was great! Questions answered and cliffhangers presented. And after the show we got a shock bigger than season 5's ending - we were told by Executive Producer, Stephanie Savage, that next season will be Gossip Girl's last. She couldn't reveal too much but we were told there will only be 10-11 episodes, Gossip Girl may or may not be revealed, and it's going to be good!
I can't wait 'til fall. What about you?
Since I knew I'd be among fashionable ladies, I busted out the Ann Taylor necklace I won from Audrey Allure. It was my first time wearing it and love it!

This looks like such a fun and stylish party. I wish I still watched Gossip Girl, but I stopped a season or two ago. I may watch next season just for the chance to possibly find out who Gossip Girl is! Also, I loooove your Ann Taylor necklace!

ReplyDeletewhat an amazing event! i would love to attend something like it. ;) even though i will definitely miss blair and co., i think it's good that they're ending the show because it feels like the story lines just keep on going on a loop. my wish for the series finale: a chuck and blair wedding. and maybe for eric and jenny to come back. ;)

ReplyDeletei had a feeling GG would be ending soon. there's only so much upper east drama they could play out and when chuck's dad "came back to life" i knew they were running out of ideas. i will miss that show though and i'm DEFINITELY tuning in next season.
