A Casual Weekend Look

Comfy casual outfit
Comfy casual Old Navy outfit

Last weekend I went on a Downtown Los Angeles art tour and needed something comfy to wear for the two-mile walk. The most important part of the outfit were the Dr. Scholl's Slip-On Sneakers. Legit the most comfortable shoes ever. Also comfy, the Old Navy Relaxed Shirred Blouse that is currently on repeat. It's relaxed and flowy, and added bonus, I get so many compliments on the print. Jeans are also Old Navy trusty Rockstars. I decided to accessorize with this clutch from Tobi. The Paulina Envelope Cross Body Clutch, as you can probably guess, is a chic clutch that comes with straps to transform the bag into a stylish purse. I have so many clutches I get tired of holding, so the straps are the perfect solution to that problem.

Beanies From Day to Night

I had the hardest time finding a beanie I liked, then I found two! One was at online shop Tobi and the other, strangely enough, I found at Ulta. By chance, both have pom poms on them - my first pom beanies actually. One is a little more casual and perfect for the everyday look, while the other can be incorporated when dressing up. If only it stayed cool enough in Southern California to wear them more often!

Do you wear beanies? If so, as more of a casual accessory or part of your attire for a night out?

Styling a Button Up Casually

Old Navy button up shirt

Last week I kicked off my three-part series, for lack of a better term, that will showcase one shirt, three ways. My first style was a buttoned-up business look, and today I have a casual outfit. All three looks feature a classic blouse from Old Navy, probably something similar to that we all have in our closets already. So this outfit can pretty easily be copied!

Um, how ridiculous are the three different browns I'm wearing? Please just ignore that tiny detail. I actually grabbed the wrong purse so I should've been only minimally mismatched ha.

Next week I have a bit of a funky, Valentine's Day look that incorporates this button up. So be sure to stop by to check it out!

All Business Button Up

Old Navy button-up shirt

I recently bought this Old Navy button-up top and am finding ways to incorporate it into varying outfits. Today I'm showcasing how I styled it for a professional look. Throw a blazer over it and add some heals and you're set for a big meeting or interview.

This pretty light blue blouse is super comfy and feels, and looks, almost like a chambray. Bonus: it's currently on sale for $19. There are many similar Old Navy tops in the same price range so you're sure to find a style that fits you just right.

Are you a fan of the classic button-up shirt or do you prefer to go a little more trendy? If you lean to the latter, stay tuned because I'll be styling this top three different ways over the next few weeks.
