Man Candy Monday: Nick Hexum

In honor of 311 day (March 11 or 3-11, and so dubbed 311 day by my favorite band 311) today I am featuring my ultimate Man Candy, Nick Hexum. Fronting the aforementioned band, I've been a fan of Nick's for about 17 years. You may or may not be familiar with 311's music, but today it's my goal to introduce you to the band's front man.

Spring Break Season

CA Spring Break

I have to admit, I miss the college days. Sleeping in, fraternity parties, Greek Week (go Delta Zeta!), and spring break! A week of doing whatever I wanted. Being a Southern California girl, the beaches are plentiful and close by. If I were still in school I'd be hang out by the ocean and relaxing. Doesn't that sound perfect? HANAair Premiere Hair Dryer

Today I'm guest posting over at Life Through Preppy Glasses. Stop by and check out my 1-day guide to LA!
________________________________________________

Recently I was contacted by Misikko, a company who so graciously offered to send me the HANAair Premiere Hair Dryer. If you haven't heard of Misikko yet, they're an awesome site that sells products like Chi Hair Straighteners, Infrashine Curling Irons, Moroccan Oil, and even OPI Nail Polish.

What excited me is they boast that they sell the Top 10 Best Hair Dryers - with the HANA dryer on that list. And I can see why it's it's number one on the Top 10. From the moment the dryer arrived on my doorstep, I was impressed.

Look at the adorable goodies included with my package! Really cute. I got the dryer, shampoo and conditioner, e.l.f. makeup, and much more. I was pleasantly surprised.

HANA is hands down the best one I've ever owned. I am really impressed with the power that the dryer possesses. It's cut my hair drying time in half. Not to mention makes my hair look beautiful...of I don't say so myself ;)

The only thing that I had to get used to with this dryer was the power. I'm a lazy dryer and don't brush my hair until it's nearly dry. Well, with the high setting my thin hair got easily tangled and I ended up having some gnarly knots. After I realized the intensity I now make it a point to use the middle air flow setting and brush my hair at the same time.

Overall, if you are in the market for a hair dryer, I think you'll be pleased with the HANAair Premiere Hair Dryer!

Dislaimer: I was sent the HANAair Premiere Hair Dryer in exchange for a honest review. My opinions are all my own and truthful.

I Scored The Hunger Games Tickets!

Over the weekend I purchased tickets to The Hunger Games for opening night! Excited is an understatement. I am giddy...like a child waiting to go to Disneyland. Now the countdown begins. 16 days, in case you weren't aware.

I love that LA has movie theaters that offer assigned seating. It's so nice to pick your seats and not have to hassle with crowds and long lines to secure a seat. Do your theaters off this? Premiere nights would be pretty miserable without assigned seating.

Today I'm linking up with The Vintage Apple for Oh How Pinteresting Wednesday and The Girl With the Blue Bow for What the Hell Wednesday. My what the hell moment centers around the fact that The Hunger Games movie isn't even out yet, but I can't wait for Catching Fire and Mockingjay to hit the big screen. Obsessed? I'd say that's an accurate assessment.

The Altered Chain

Last month I attended the SoCal Blogger Meet-Up and was fortunate enough to learn about lots of wonderful online shops thanks to a pretty sweet swag bag. In that bag, there were lots of business cards including one for The Altered Chain.

The shop's slogan is "Everyday jewelry that makes a statement." Agreed. Check out some of my favorite items.

Satellite Bracelet in Silver - $14

In addition to the beautiful pieces, I was impressed with the reasonable prices. I def need to buy something from the shop soon!
