I'm originally from a suburb south of LA that's generally 10 degrees hotter than the city. So I am used to this heat; however, I am also used to living in a home with an air conditioner. My old apartment does not have one. Last night I slept on my couch with a tiny fan pointing on me. Looks like the same goes for tonight.
Right now I am pretty much dreaming of anything cool.
What is the weather like everywhere else? Anyone actually experiencing fall?

In Baltimore, it was raining and a low at 60 degrees. But, the day before it was 90 degrees. I had a fan blowing on me all night as well. Hope it cools down a bit in LA :)

Hmm, I live in Baltimore and it wasn't 60 today. It was actually raining and 75, with humidity. This weekend it's going to be in the mid 60's - fall weather!!

113 Degrees??? Omg that's HAWT!!! You can send some of the heat over here. It's in the 60's in New York & overcast & rainy. I'll more than take the heat! =)

My bff just moved to LA and was miserable there today... it was awful here today too, but in an opposite way. Totally rainy and awful and pretty chilly!

I was thinking of you tonight when I saw my local news. They were talking over here about the temps over there! I hope that it starts to cool down for you soon. The weather has been all over the place here, but this weekend looks like we’re finally going to get some relief.
I have to give you credit for dealing with the heat without AC in your apartment. I love that you posted a slip-n-slide. That was the best when I was a kid!
