Add Neon Museum to Your Vegas Plans

The Neon Museum

In addition to gambling, drinking, shows, and whatever you do while in Las Vegas, be sure to add Neon Museum to the list for your next trip to Sin City. Also called "Neon Boneyard", it's an awesome place full of old Vegas history. The museum is dedicated to collecting and restoring old Las Vegas signs that visitors can check out during hour-long guided tours during the day or night.

We opted for the day tour and as you can see below, it didn't disappoint. Photo dump in 3, 2, 1...

Years ago I had seen these cool signs in 311's "Last Straw" music video and knew I had to see them in person. It was everything I'd imagined it to be! The only thing I didn't like was that you can't roam on your own. I understand for safety reasons you can't be alone, but with a group of 20ish, hanging back is the only way to snap pictures without a bunch of people in them. But by doing so, I didn't hear most of the tour. Other than that, I really did enjoy the experience and encourage you to visit during your next Vegas trip.

Be sure to book a tour in advance, as they sell out several days before and you don't want to miss out!

this is an interesting part of Vegas that is so different to what people see when they go there to gamble.
