Glitter Mason Jar Vase Tutorial

DIY Glitter Mason Jar

Two months ago I posted a glitter champagne bottle tutorial and as soon as was done decided my next project would be a glitter mason jar vase. This project is so much easier than the first, mainly because the amount of glitter is significantly less. Plus, I learned the mistakes of glittering something last time. So, if you're looking for a fast and easy DIY project, I bring you a simple four-step guide to creating a darling glitter mason jar vase!

DIY Glitter Mason Jar
Materials: mason jar, paint brush, clear glaze adhesive spray, spray paint, Modge Podge, and glitter

Step 1: Spray the entire jar, allow for several hours to a full day for paint to dry. Repeat until you get your desired shade.

Step 2: Mark the top of your glitter point. I used scratch paper and taped it to the bottle.
(Don't use too much tape to avoid peeling off spray paint upon removal.)

Step 3: Apply Modge Podge in small sections, poring glitter over the glue while it's wet. Cover the entire desired area. Allow for a few hours to dry.

Step 4: Spray glitter with clear glaze adhesive.

That's it!
With those four simple steps, you've created a beautiful gifting vase to fill with flowers, or a fun piece of home decor for yourself.

I am the worst ever DIYer. Like, the worst. But this looks doable (and gorgeous) - and would be an upgrade from my ugly makeup brush holder (that is a cup. It is actually a cup for spitting out water that is my makeup brush holder. Classy!).
Can't wait to try!
