Grilled Banana Boat Recipe

Grilled Banana Boats

Grilled banana boats aka banana marshmallow chocolate goodness! I'm not a big cook - unless you consider microwaving acceptable - so when I came across this easy recipe I was excited to try it out. Let's get to it!

Ingredients:
firm banana(s)
chocolate chips
marshmallows (small)

Cooking Directions:
Heat grill to medium or oven to 450°
Cut a lengthwise slit into banana (do not slice all the way through)
Fill slit with marshmallows and chocolate chips
Wrap banana in foil, sealing at top, leaving two to three inches of space at top
Place banana(s) on grill and cover for 8-10 minutes or in oven for 15-20 minutes
Once marshmallows are melted, boats are ready

This looks like the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Plus banana, so I mean, it's 100% healthy, right? Now I just need a grill.

YUM! We tried these once on the fire pit and we squished the bananas, but it still tasted amazing. I need to do it again soon before the end of summer.
