Traveling to New Orleans

Before I jump into NOLA I wanted to apologize again for being so MIA. If by chance you don't know my situation, the deets are that I'm commuting five hours daily for my new job. I literally have about two spare hours a day and have been using that time to eat and prep for the next day. I've also been staying at hotels to eliminate my drive once or twice a week. As a result I haven't visited blogs or posted much. I'll probably just stick to Monday Morning Gossip posts until I can catch up - on life in general. Please bear with me. I'M SUPER SORRY!

I'm not currently at work, but instead in New Orleans to see the Saints play a home game. Second year in a row! I've been to the city twice (I think I've seen and done all of the major things) and I'm not doing the planning on this trip so I'm not exactly sure what's on the agenda. I'm sure I'll find something fun to see. I'm a big explorer when I travel. Here's a look back at my last two trips to NOLA.

Jackson Square New Orleans

Marie Laveau tomb

Superdome, Saints
 New Orleans Saints Game

Baby alligator, swamp tour

Oak Alley Plantation, New Orleans

Lafitte's Swamp New Orleans

Your turn! Join the Monday Morning Gossip fun with my co-host Kimberlee of I Have a Degree in This and me. Here's how it works:

1. Blog about your gossip - all topics accepted so why not link up?!
2. Include the badge (below) in your post and/or link back to our blogs.
3. Add your link to the list below.
4. Only add ONE post.

Linkups are meant to be fun and promote everyone's blogs! We understand if you're new and don't know the rules, so we're happy to explain the process. But we don't link playing blog hop police. Repeat offenders will be deleted.

I am so sorry that you are having such a horrible commute right now. You shouldn't have to apologize for having a life. We all understand, and we are just happy that you got a chance to get away and travel. New Orleans is such an amazing city! Looks like you had a great time.

Oh no, that commute sounds horrific. I hope you can figure out a solution soon (although staying at hotels is pretty awesome)

Yuck. That commute. I'd go nuts. Staying at a hotel is a great idea though!

Yay! Is that a baby gator?! I have a friend that helped me experience NOLA and it was an experience, but seeing the Saints play was one of the things we didn't do. Probably because I went in May, womp womp. Looks like so much fun!!

I hope you have an awesome trip, Leeann! I love NOLA - my husband and I actually got married there, so lots of happy memories:)

No apologies necessary, girlfriend! With your commute, I would have given up on blogging, and probably would be curled in a ball crying at the end of each day, so you're already winning!
These pictures are AWESOME. I've never been to NOLA, so I'm living through your amazing pictures of everything!
Hang in there and enjoy your time away from work! <3
