My Hair: Then and Now

Today I made a big change...I dyed my hair! I mean dyed it dyed it...like a major difference in color. I have had blonde hair since I was 16. Whether it was highlights or straight bleached, I have always been on the light-haired side. Until today.

I think I am having a quarter-life crisis because I went dark brown with a red tint. I think it's appropriate for fall though.

BEFORE

AFTER

So, what do you think? Honest opinions, it's just hair I can dye it back...although it will take about a year and a half to do so!

i love the brunette hair on u.i think it would look awesome though with a few blond highlights for some reason.. it seems like something fun wich would suit u!:D

specially if u do like a wavy hairstyle or curly.

wait.. i just realised u kinda had it like that? brown with blond on top? i still think a bit of blond would look good. but only a few streaks.

Wow, major difference! But I think brunette hair adds years of wisdom - I mean seriously, you look more sophisticated and laid back now :)
And think of all the curls and swirls and how gorgeous they would look on a brown mane this fall.

You look great either way. But I do like the top pic. You look like a bad ass -- and that's a great thing!

Wow that's a big difference. I like the brunette hair on you. It is a good look for fall too. Generally speaking, it's nice to change your look up once in a while.

I like the change! Cute either way, but I agree with glamouricious regarding the blonde streaks in the front. But see how you feel with look! I'd love to see you play with this color and wear like a bronze or a red lip. That would be so different for you!

It looks good on you & the red doesn't look like it came from a bottle!! The problem with most people going with red is that you can tell it's a bottle, this looks very natural on you!!!
You doing this with your hair reminds me yet again that I am ready to high lite my hair again....

As a former blonde turned brunette I have to say that I love the brunette look for you. I can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly, but it definately works! I think you should keep it this way for awhile. Now all you need is a new cut/style to go with it.

you look so different but both look great.

That is huge change but it looks great with your skin tone.

I was glad to share that information about different shopping sites. Glad several others found it useful as well!

love it! i've been dark since sophomore year of college. i tried to go back to blonde once, but ended up coloring over it. don't be suprised if it fades quite a bit...your hair will get used to it though!

definitely.

i was also thinking of taking that deep chocolate route
i attempted to last yr but it went a bit red.

You're so brave to have such a drastic hair color change! But Glamouricious is right, I've seen you with brunette hair with blonde streaks prior to your fully blonde hair.

I think a few tiny streaks of honey blonde would make your brunette hair color pop and more depth.

The color suits fall so well and it wamrs up your complexion. Good call!
