Tennessee, Here I come!

The countdown to fall and my trip to Tennessee has begun! Just over a month! Not only do I get to visit a dear friend who recently moved to Nashville, I also get to see a real autumn...for the first time. Living in LA we don't really have season changes. Fall is my favorite time of year, yet I have never seen beautiful bright orange, red, and yellow foliage. Sad right? That's OK because that's about to change.

So far we have plans to catch a Josh Turner show at the Grand Ole Opry (potentially with backstage passes because my friend is amazing like that!), lots of historical sightseeing, fun at Music City bars, a haughted tour, leaf peepin', and a UT football game! I'm BEYOND excited for all of this. I'm extra excited for the game because we don't have the same fottball/college spirit in Southern California. I want to tailgate!!

I'm so excited you're coming to our side of the country! It's pretty amazing here. I love having the different seasons! Fall is the best, by far! Nashville is a great city! Soooo fun! And I'm so jealous of your Opry show! But, I do have a bone to pick with you Miss! This UT game and wearing orange is not ok with me! Haha. Us UK girls are pretty serious about our rivals! Tailgaiting is serious business...get ready! Have fun and I can't wait to hear about the trip!

I'm sure you're gonna love fall. :) :D My favorite season, too, besides summer. ;)

That trip sounds like so much fun! I think the best way to tour a town is with someone who lives there - you'll get to experience all the "musts" and also things that only locals would know about. It will be so awesome, I know you'll have a blast :)

I guess my comment should have said "what the hell, I forgot to sign up for this swap", cause I totally thought I had, then remembered I hadn't. I'm always down for a good What The Hell!!!!

I looooooove Nashville! You're gonna have such a blast. And boy are you right about us southerners and football. :) I can't wait to see all your pics! The leaves down there are gorgeous in the fall . . . literally every color. I really miss the fall in Georgia. You're a lucky girl!

Girrrll you are gonna have so much fun!!! Regretfully it's not quite colorful here just yet, but it's a little cooler in the mornings! (Fall mornings here remind me of LA actually!) I will be downtown on Saturday for football watching & honky-tonkin with friends, and there is a really fun art crawl Sat. night too! Let me know if you need anything! :) Will you be in Knoxville for the game or Nashville?
