Larchmont Bungalow

For Mother's Day my mom let me pick the restaurant ('cause even on their day they still think of us, right?) and I chose Larchmont Bungalow. After searching for a few days for the perfect restaurant and coming across their site I was hooked. The menu has pictures of the amazing food they serve and everything looks delish!

Accompanied by my parents and aunt, we chose some pretty diverse items which equalled a whole lot of yum!

Red and Blue Velvet Pancakes

Pastrami Omelet

Mexican Burger

Turkey Guacamole Club

We also got the Seafood Lover's and Meat Sensation Omelets but there weren't any pictures of them on the site (too bad!). On top of the great food, we had great service. The owner (I believe...or maybe he was the manager) personally found us a table. Then as we were walking out my mom told him how great our meal was and he brought her a chocolate covered strawberry and a heart shaped piece of cake. It tasted so good! My wonderful mama let me eat it hehe :)

If you live in the LA area, or are just in the general Melrose neighborhood, I highly suggest you check out Larchmont Bungalow. A little tip: because you order food, get a number, then find a table, it's probably a good idea to have half of your party grab a table while the others order. That way you know you'll have a table once your food comes.

Happy dining!

Red and blue velvet cupcakes...yum! It looks like you definitely picked a winner and I love how many different options the restaurant has to offer. It sounds like they took good care of you too!

I'm glad you were able to make it a nice day for your mom!

Amazing food. Glad you had a nice meal with your Mom.
We went to a french bakery for dinner with my mom and shared a smoked salmon quiche that was great.
